On May 5th, the 6th CMGS volunteer launching and training conference were held in the People's Hall of CPC Committee. More than 600 students from Xiangnan University, Chenzhou Vocational and Technical College, Chenzhou Technician College, Fucheng Volunteer Association and so on participated in the launching ceremony.

At the conference, Ouyang Feng, Municipal Standing Committee and Secretary General, announced the launching of voluntary services and gave the flag to the volunteer service team; Lei Junyong, President of the Chenzhou Federation of Voluntary Service, led more than 600 volunteers to read out the oath of volunteers of the 6th CMGS. The slogan of this volunteer service is: Smile in Chenzhou, moved the world.

After the ceremony, all volunteers participated in a day of volunteer knowledge training. The training covers the theme logo of voluntary service, the introduction of the CMGS, the professional knowledge of gemstones in Chenzhou, mineral crystals, volunteer service etiquette, professional English and volunteer emotion management, etc.
