It was understood that the project, started in 2015, covers an area of 160,000 square meters, a total area of 25,000 square meters and a total investment of 238 million yuan. The project has planned industrial tourism-related scenic spots with 18 main scenic spots and 6 secondary scenic spots, and has highlighted the exclusive landscape, silver culture experience, silver products consumption, silver production visit, silver tableware experiences and other 6 bright spots. The project aimed to create a Silver Craft Exhibition Hall, Silver Museum, Silver Product Outlets, Silver Workshop Interactive Experience Space and other silver theme tourism projects through the contextual characteristic tour, the scenic atmosphere building, the humanized supporting facilities, the coordinated industrial integration and other initiatives; where silver comes from, silver smelting skills, silver's daily consumption attributes, industrial attributes, financial attributes and so on will be reflected and displayed in all directions in the Silver City.

In 2002, Chenzhou Yongxing County was named "Silver City of China" by the Silver Branch of China Nonferrous Metals Association. Yongxing County accounts for 1 / 4 of the country's silver output and the recovery of gold and silver has a history of more than 300 years.
