On the morning of May 9, Chenzhou held a meeting to solicit opinions and promote the work of air quality standard grid management in Chenzhou City, and strive to be the national air quality second class standard city in 2018.

The meeting pointed out that in order to further innovate management methods, promote air quality to meet the grid management, and strengthen the prevention and control of the source, Chenzhou City divided the air quality of urban areas into three major plates of the three-level grid, special grid and key grid according to the legal responsibilities of various departments at all levels, compacted the tasks and responsibilities of the supervision to the specific personnel, and made the grid management matters and jurisdiction areas be practical, detailed and confidential, not leaving the dead corner, the blind area and the gap.

Deputy Mayor He Zunqing stressed that all responsible units should carry the flag well, lead by example, and be the "vanguard" in the work of establishing air quality standards; should set targets, dare to take up the responsibilities, and be "combatants" to promote grid management; should take the initiative to serve as "orderly soldiers" in the vital interests of the people.
