On May 9th, Cai Zhenhong, Provincial Party Committee Member and Minister of Provincial Party Committee Propaganda Department, went deep into Guidong County to investigate the development of red cultural tourism and the work of tackling poverty alleviation. Cai Zhenghong stressed that we should fully develop, integrate and make good use of the rich red cultural tourism resources in Guidong, and use the red cultural spirit contained in the "First military regulation" to stimulate the people's development power in the poor areas, so as to drive the local people out of poverty and become rich, and help Guidong County get rid of poverty.

On the same day, Cai Zhenhong successively went to the First Military Regulation Square in Guidong County, the Former Guidong Institute of Peasant Movement, the Longevity Palace, the second phase of the First Military Regulation Square project, the socialist core values entering the campus demonstration site Shatian No. 1 Primary School, Deng Liqun's Former Residence and other places to investigate.

In the investigation, Cai Zhenhong pointed out that Guidong County, as an old revolutionary base area, is rich in red culture resources, and it is necessary to build a batch of classic red cultural scenic spots through mining and integrating; develop the spiritual connotation of red culture, strengthen patriotism education, carry forward the red tradition well, inherit the red gene well, and practice the socialist core values well. Guidong County belongs to the Luoxiao Mountain area with special difficulties and it is necessary to adapt measures suiting local conditions, effectively combine red tourism with poverty relief, promote local people to start the business and get rich, and ensure the smooth realization of poverty alleviation.
