Recently, the office website of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development has issued a "Notice on the publication of the list of Chinese traditional villages to be included in the scope of central financial support in 2018" ( hereinafter referred to as "Notice" ) and 7 Chinese traditional villages in our city were selected .

The traditional village inherits the historical memory of the Chinese nation, the wisdom of production and life, the crystallization of culture and art, and the regional characteristics of the nation, which maintains the root of Chinese civilization and holds the homesickness of the people of all ethnic groups in China. Considering the urgency of the protection of traditional villages, and the existing conditions and scale, the Central Finance co-ordinated special funds for the rural environmental protection, financial award compensation, beautiful rural construction, protection of state key cultural relics, central subsidies for the development of local cultural, sports and media undertakings, and protection of intangible cultural heritage on the basis of making clear the administrative power and expenditure responsibility of the governments at all levels, supporting the conservation and development of Chinese traditional villages in the year.

According to the "Notice", 444 Chinese traditional village technical documents were agreed to be put on record and included in the first batch of central financial support in 2018, among them, 6 villages in Chenzhou City were on the list. The "Notice" decided to include 156 traditional Chinese villages in the second batch of central financial support in 2018, one of the villages in Chenzhou was on the list.

The 7 Chinese traditional villages which are included in the central financial support of this year included the Nanfu Village in Fenshi Town of Linwu County, Youtang Village in Heping Town of Guiyang County, Yangshan Village in Zhenghe Town of Guiyang County, Pingdong Village in Youshi Town of Yongxing County, Leigongjing Village in Zhuquan Town of Jiahe County, Shangqiao Village in Maishi Town of Linwu County, and Jinjiang Village in Luyang Town of Rucheng County. It was reported that the scope of central financial support included the infrastructure improvement, such as the protection and use demonstration of the traditional buildings, the construction of disaster prevention and mitigation facilities, the restoration of historical and environmental elements and the healthy, the public environmental renovation, the cultural relics protection, and the protection of national intangible cultural heritage representative projects.
