Recently, the "2018 list of the most beautiful counties in China" was officially announced at the Summit Forum on Cultural Making Tourism Brand and the Quality Culture and Tourism Project Promotion Conference, which were the theme activities of the 14th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industry Fair (ICIF), and 12 counties (cities, districts) in Hunan were selected, in which Guidong County, Yizhang County and Suxian District on the list.

It was introduced that the "list of the most beautiful counties in China" is a public welfare list that is not influenced by any commercial factors and the core criterion of evaluation is the rich tourism resources and the best ecological environment. The significance of publishing the list is to "explore, spread and enjoy beauty", achieve and promote the development of global tourism.
