Provincial CPPCC Investigation Group Investigates in Chenzhou

From 28 to 29 May, Hu Xusheng, Vice Chairman of the provincial CPPCC, led the investigation group to carry out a special investigation on "promoting Hunan enterprises to integrate into the 'Belt and Road' pattern" and held a forum in Chenzhou City.

 

The investigation group visited Hunan Dahua Heavy Industry Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd., Hunan Churong Furniture Technology Co., Ltd., Hunan Guangdong Home Intellectual Industry Park, Yinxing Nonferrous Co., Ltd. and other companies to understand the basic situation of enterprises and the current difficulties and problems.

 

In recent years, Chenzhou has actively responded to the national "Belt and Road" initiative, promoted to integrate into the "Belt and Road" pattern, comprehensively deepened the foreign exchanges and cooperation, and played a positive role in expanding the opening-up, raising the international image and promoting economic construction and social development of Chenzhou. By April 2018, there were 42 "Go globally" enterprises in the city, with a total investment of $420 million; in 2017, the city's total import and export was $3.887 billion, among them $339 million with the "Belt and Road" countries.

 

Hu Xusheng pointed out that we should further enhance the ideological understanding, overcome the weak points of opening-up, enhance the awareness of opening-up, and fully realize the importance of integrating into the "Belt and Road" pattern; should promote the policy implementation, and the relevant government departments and parks should comprehensively understand, familiar with and master the relevant policies, and conduct a systematic arranging to help enterprises better integrate into the "Belt and Road" pattern; should coordinate the resources of all parties and form a joint effort to help enterprises better "Go globally"; should help enterprises prevent and defuse risks and promote the establishment of a risk assessment system for enterprises' overseas investment; should dock with Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and undertake the group transfer of greater bay area industry to integrate into the industrial chain; should strive to improve the level of service and provide high-quality and efficient services for enterprise to "Go globally".

 

Municipal leaders Li Ping, Zhou Hailin and Li Xuelian participated in the related activities.
