On the morning of June 6th, Mr.Marvenk,Belgian Ambassador to China, led a delegation to Chenzhou City and Liu Zhiren, Deputy Party Secretary and Mayor, held friendly talks with him on promoting exchanges and cooperation between the two places.Liu Zhiren expressed the hope that Chenzhou and Belgium would strengthen exchanges and communication in the future, and strengthen cooperation in new energy, clean energy and cultural tourism to further deepen the friendship.

Liu Zhiren extended a warm welcome to Mr.Marvenk and his delegation to Chenzhou City.Liu Zhiren said that Chenzhou will learn from Belgium's advanced urban management concepts and experience, and strengthen exchanges and cooperation with Belgium in urban management, urban construction and urban culture.He Hoped that the two sides could strength the exchanges, and develop project cooperation in new energy, clean energy, environmental protection and energy saving, cultural tourism, etc.and also hoped that two sides could strengthen information communication, promote personnel exchanges and further deepen the friendship.

Mr.Marvenk said that it was a pleasure to visit Chenzhou City, a beautiful city. In recent years, Belgium and Hunan had close exchanges and cooperation and frequent personnel exchanges. He hoped to strengthen the communication and exchange between Belgium and Chenzhou, and seek opportunities for cooperation in energy development, photovoltaic power generation, cultural tourism, green environmental protection, and so on through this visit to achieve win-win development.
