On June 11th, Zixing City held the launch ceremony of the 2018 National Energy Saving Week and Low-carbon Day at Swan Mountain National Forest Park. At the launching ceremony of "Energy saving and defend blue sky, our responsibility!", the energy saving volunteers sent out initiatives to the people of the whole city.

It was reported that the 2018 National Energy Saving Week and the Low-Carbon Day activities will take place from June 11 to 17 with the theme of "Energy saving and defend blue sky". June 13 is the National Low Carbon Day, with the theme of "raising awareness of climate change and strengthening low-carbon action".In order to carry out in-depth implementation of the thought of Socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era of Xi Jinping and the spirit of 19th CPC National Congress, firmly establish the new development concept of innovation, coordination, green, openness and sharing, cultivate and practice the resource concept of saving and intensive recycling, accelerate the improvement of ecological environment, and work hard to build beautiful China, Zixing City organized and conducted the National Energy Conservation Week and the Low-carbon Day activities to call on the city's people to act quickly and build blue water and blue sky.

On the morning of that day, nearly 80 energy saving volunteers from all walks of life carried out low-carbon running activities in the Swan Mountain National Forest Park, actively practiced and propagated the low-carbon development concept, and mobilized the whole society to participate in low-carbon activities extensively and jointly defended the blue sky.

From June 12, Zixing City will also go deep into communities, shopping malls, enterprises and schools to carry out theme publicity through the slogans, electronic screens, publicity boards and other publicity carriers, and organize various kinds of energy saving publicity activities with rich contents to actively guide the green life model and promote the formation of green production lifestyle.
