The 2nd Cultural and Natural Heritage Day, with the theme of "Cultural Heritage and Inheritance" and "Colorful Intangible Cultural Heritage, Better Life", was held in Spark Square at 9: 00 a.m. on June 11, sponsored by the County cultural,Radio and TV,Press and Publication Beureau, and undertook by the County Cultural Center and the County Relic Center, rich in content and unprecedented in prosperity.

The eye-catching banners of hanging over the square "Live inheritance, vitality reappearance!" and "Protect cultural relics, Everyone'responsibility, you and me!" were hanged over the square; there were more than rich 10 panels of "Material cultural heritage" and "Intangible cultural heritage" on both sides of the square;the contents and pictures of the national, provincial, municipal and county level projects in our county attracted a large number of viewers.

The volunteers at the scene issued the "Law of the People's Republic of China on the Protection of Cultural Relics", the "Law of the People's Republic of China on Intangible Cultural Heritage", the "Collection of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Yizhang County" and the "Overview of Cultural Relics in Yizhang County" and other more than 4000 promotional materials; the intangible cultural heritage performs at the scene included the following: "Yao People Long-drum Dance", "Yao People Double-knife Dance", "Dance of Spring Cattle" and "Yao People Monkey Face, Arhat, Color Lion Dance", "Beating Brake Roots", and so on. In particular, the program of the "Dance of Spring Cattle" highlighted the "Dancing Cattle","Singing Cattle"and "Sighing Cattle", singing from the head to the tail of the cattle, which enthusiastically extolled the contributions of the cattle to the people in different seasons, celebrating the harvest of grain, favourable climatic weathers, and peace and prosperity of the country and the people.

The program of "Yao People Monkey Face, Arhat, Color Lion Dance"organically integrated the lion's bravery and power, monkey's light and naughty, arhat's charm and clever to perfom, emboding the concept of harmonious coexistence between man and nature, very profound and interesting. It also interspersed material culture and intangible cultural heritage knowledge with prize-to-answer interaction, adding to the strong atmosphere of the activities.

Despite the hot weather, the event lasted for more than 2 hours and more than 3,000 enthusiastic spectators gathered in the square to enjoy the rich cultural feast.
