From June 11 to 12, Zhi Xiaoheng, Deputy Supervisor of China Foundry Association, and 5 experts investigated the final work of "2018 China Skill Contest-National Foundry Industry Vocational Skill Competition" in Jiahe County. Deputy Party Secretary Zhou Xiaoyang, Deputy County Governor Guo Qingfeng, Director of the County Economic Development Zone Liu Siguang and responsible persons of the County Economic Science and Commerce Bureau, and other units accompanied the investigation.

Zhi Xiaoheng and his party inspected the Zhonghe Casting Industry, Xiongjian Machine Tools and other 8 quality enterprises, and held a forum in the multi-functional conference room.

At the meeting, Guo Qingfeng gave a comprehensive report on the transformation and upgrading of foundry enterprises in Jiahe County, and the main measures and results from the top level design and planning, innovation-driven quality improvement, cluster development strong brands, investment promotion structure, environmental protection regulation and strengthening assistance and training. He pointed out that the county has faced some difficult problems, such as low casting quality, backward enterprise consciousness, bottleneck of attracting investment and land, lack of technical talents, etc., but has scientifically formulated the strategic goal and thought for the foundry industry, and determined the implementation ways in the 6 inspects of the top level design, science and technology support, park quality, leading led, cultural guidance and environment optimization.

After listening to the report, Zhi Xiaoheng pointed out that the foundry enterprises in Jiahe County have changed a lot and promoted faster, especially the results have been even more obvious since last year's transformation and upgrading, such as the Giant Machine Tool and Xiongjian Machine Tool. He also said that Jiahe party committee and the county government have confidence and determination to hold the competition, so the competition will be hosted by Jiahe County. They had a discussion for more than an hour on the preliminary issues, competition plan, process, written test and operation site and other related matters.

It was understood that the national competition will be jointly organized by the China Foundry Association and the China Employment Guidance Center of the Ministry of Human and Social Affairs, the preliminary contest scheduled for September and the final scheduled for November. Holding the competition will have a great role in the overall improvement of foundry skills in Jiahe County.
