On June 20, the deployment meeting of "Great Changes in Hunan, Bautiful Chenzhou" 40 years of reform and opening up beautiful village selection activities was held to deploy the selection work.

The meeting pointed out that this year is the 40th anniversary of reform and opening up, and the propaganda department of the CPC Hunan Provincial Party Committee has taken the lead in organizing the China Mobile Hunan Branch and Mango TV to extensively carry out the 40 village selection activities of "Great Changes in Hunan" during the 40 years of reform and opening up. In order to fully demonstrate the achievements of the new rural construction in the past 40 years, and promote the rural civilization and the rural rejuvenation, our city organized and carried out the "Great Changes in Hunan, Bautiful Chenzhou" 40 years of reform and opening up beautiful village selection activities.

The time of the selection is from June to October this year. At the primary selection stage, each county (city, district) should recommend 5 villages to participate in the evaluation, and the 40 villages selected in the primary selection will enter into the province rematch. According to the voting situation, the province should select 10 villages to enter the finals and the award ceremony will be held in early October this year. At present, Banliang Ancient Village in Gaoting Town of Yongxing County, Liuhuawan Village in Sandu Town of Zixing City, and Sanhe Village in Huatang Town of Beihu District have been shortlisted in the primaries.

The meeting pointed out that the propaganda departments of the county (city and district) party committees should pay high attention to and actively mobilize local villages to register for the selection activities; all units should pay close attention to the implementation and take measures to provide the necessary organization and fund guarantee to make the selected villages be shortlisted in the final round of the province.
