On June 28, Jiang Feng, Municipal Standing Committee, Executive Vice Mayor, Chenzhou Municipal Deputy River Chief and Dongjiang Lake Chief,carried out river inspection work in Zixing City. He pointed out that we should give priority to environmental and ecological protection and jointly protect Dongjiang Lake's water resources.

Jiang Feng and his party took a boat tour in the waters of Dongjiang Lake, and successively inspected the disposal of ship pollutants, the construction progress of the first LNG clean fuel passenger ship "Golden Dragon Boat", the lake surface cleaning, the disembarkation of the cage, the sewage treatment of farmer' houses, etc. in the Dongjiang Dam Wharf, Bailang Village of Bailang Town, Jiangkou Village, Lake Road and other places.

During the inspection, Jiang Feng paid great attention to the details and found some environmental pollution problems, such as there were some garbage near the lake, the rural household water of farmer'houses around the lake has not been recycled, and the partially retained cages polluted the water of the lake. Jiang Feng immediately required the relevant personnel to rectify and reform the found problems timely.

Jiang Feng pointed out that insisting on the development is not to develop greatly, but not to develop destructively. We should adhere to the path of ecological priority and green development, and do a good job in the protection of water ecology in the Dongjiang Lake Basin; should strengthen the prevention and control of water pollution, and do a good job in getting the net cages back to shore, regulating the discharge of domestic sewage from the surrounding areas, salvaging floating objects on water, using clean energy for ships, controlling the source of rivers entering the lake, and so on; should strengthen the construction of water ecological environment protection system in Dongjiang Lake, and create the whole ecological environment circle composed of water, field, animal husbandry, forest and other factors.
