On the morning of June 29, our city celebrated the first anniversary of the implementation of the Law of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and the launching ceremony of the TCM Chenzhou Station in 2018 was held in the Beihu Park.

The TCM Promotion Campaign in China, sponsored by the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Propaganda Department of the CPC Central Committee and other 22 ministries and departments, has lasted for 10 years. The theme of this year's event was "spreading TCM health culture and promoting people's health literacy". At the event scene, the medical staff from 10 TCM hospitals in the city and county displayed 24 TCM traditions or unique skills in diagnosis and treatment, and 12 city-level TCM doctors also carried on free consultation for the scene masses.

In recent years, our city has vigorously promoted the construction of TCM health culture, actively implemented the "13th Five-Year Plan" for the TCM Development in Chenzhou City and the "Five Famous" Program for the TCM Development in Chenzhou City (2016-2020), built famous TCM doctors, hospitals, medicines, departments and techniques with regional influence, strengthened the service capacity building of TCM Hospitals at all levels, and highlighted the curative effect and advantage of TCM, benefiting thousands of families.
