On the evening of June 29 th, the "Singing Folk Songs to the Party Again" Concert to celebrate the 97th anniversary of the CPC was held in the City Performing Arts Center.

Yi Pengfei, Municipal Party Secretary and Chairman of Municipal People's Congress Standing Committee, Hu Daisong, Provincial Military District Party Committee and Director of the General Office, Chen Zuihua, Director of the Provincial Education International Exchange Association, and municipal leaders Li Ping, Zhang Aiguo, Jiang Bo, Wang Honglang, Weng Xi, Liao Meilin and He Jianxiang listened to the concert.

At the concert, Yi Pengfei, on behalf of the Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee of CPC, extended festive greetings and lofty respects to veteran Party members and veteran comrades who had made important contributions to the development of Chenzhou, and the vast number of communists and Party organizations at all levels on all fronts and from all walks of life in the city.

Yi Pengfei said that our Party has always adhered to the initial heart and mission of seeking happiness for the Chinese people and the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, united and led the people of all ethnic groups throughout the country in the unremitting struggle, continuously achieved great victories in revolution, construction and reform, and won the heartfelt support of the people of all ethnic groups throughout the country since 1997. In the ever-advancing historical process of our Party, Chenzhou City is also constantly struggling to move forward. The Party organizations at all levels in the city adhere to the socialist ideology with Chinese characteristics in the new era of Xi Jinping as the guide, and unite and lead the broad masses of Party members and cadres to work hard to achieve sound and rapid economic and social development, and build a good political enviroment.

Yi Pengfei pointed out that in order to realize the transformation and development of high-quality development in Chenzhou, it is necessary for the whole city to work together, for Party organizations at all levels and all Party members to give full play to the role of fighting fortress and vanguard role model. Party organizations at all levels and the vast number of Communists in the city must strengthen Party members' awareness, build the "four consciousness", resolutely safeguard General Secretary Xi Jinping's core position in the Party Central Committee and the whole Party, and resolutely uphold the authority and centralized and unified leadership of the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core; must strengthen the consciousness of the masses, always put the people in the highest position in our hearts, make every effort to improve the quality of life of the masses, and make life more and more beautiful for the masses; must strengthen the consciousness of development, conscientiously implement the new concept of development, take the initiative to adapt to the new normal state of economic development, and strive to promote the development of Chenzhou with high quality; must strengthen the sense of discipline, keep discipline and rules in the front at all times, persevere in the discipline, and promote the development of the Party in a comprehensive and rigorous manner.

At the concert, famous tenor singer Yu Junjian, young singer Chen Jiapo and Ma Danwei, Chenzhou youth soloist and graduate student of Shanghai Conservatory of Music brought an audiovisual feast to the audience. "Liuyang River", "Where peach blossoms are in full bloom", "Little Alamo" and other classic songs made the audience intoxicated.
