Recently, the Municipal Forestry Bureau organized a city-wide conference on forestry industry work. The leaders in charge of forestry industry work and the responsible person of forest production stations from 11 counties and urban areas, enterprises that won the 2017 "provincial characteristic forestry industry park" and the responsible person of relevant departments of Municipal Forestry Bureau attended the conference.

3 enterprises were awarded the titles of "2017 Provincial Characteristic Forestry Industry Park" at the conference, including the Anren Xiangzhong Traditional Chinese Medicine, Guidong Shengyuan Pharmaceutical Industry and Yizhang Shengshi Agriculture, and the representatives of 3 enterprises and Guiyang and Yizhang County Forestry Bureau made the typical statements.

It was reported that the Municipal Forestry Bureau took the four key 100 billion industries of the provincial government as an opportunity, combined the "industry leading, comprehensive development" strategy of the whole city, and made great efforts to promote the forestry industry work, achieving good results. However, there were still weak points of insufficient investment in forestry industry, poor industrial structure and low degree of industrial agglomeration. At the next stage, the Municipal Forestry Bureau will focus on 6 aspects of speeding up the base construction, strengthening leading enterprises, building forestry brands, improving product quality, gathering scientific and technological power, strengthening production safety and industry poverty alleviation to achieve the goal of making the forestry industry bigger and stronger in Chenzhou.
