On July 5th, Deputy Party Secretary Chen Xuechu came to Suxian District to investigate the forest health industry and the work of overcoming poverty. He pointed out that the health industry has become a more prosperous emerging industry and we should fully understand the driving effect and unique advantages of the health industry in Chenzhou.

Chen Xuechu came to Mount Wugai Ski Resort project, the site of Mount Wugai Traditional Chinese Medicine Healthy Special Town, Mount Wugai Hunting Ground, Shizikou Forest Area, and understood the progress of the projects and tourism development. He pointed out that Mount Wugai has obvious advantages in ecology, altitude, location and so on, and has favorable conditions for developing healthy care industry. We should attach great importance to and plan from a high starting point, increase efforts to attract investment, speed up the construction of relevant facilities, and focus on Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao source markets to achieve good benefits at an early date.

Chen Xuechu also came to the poverty relief relocation points in Shizikou Village to check the situation of poverty alleviation relocation. He pointed out that the poverty alleviation relocation is an effective way to carry out targeted poverty alleviation and targeted poverty reduction. We should not only build houses well, but also build regional infrastructure, public services and good surrounding environment; should combine the local characteristics and habits, adhere to aesthetics and practicality, and pay close attention to the rectification of related problems according to provincial and municipal requirements.
