On July 5, Chen Songling, Deputy Director of Hunan Economic and Information Technology Committee led the investigation team to investigate the Dongjiang Lake Big Data Industrial Park.

Chen Songling and his party made a field investigation for Dongjiang Lake Big Data Center and its surrounding supporting environment, and understood in detail about the construction, investment and enterprises of Dongjiang Lake Big Data Industrial Park.

In recent years, the Dongjiang Lake Big Data Industrial Park has taken the construction of "South China Green Data Valley" as the core goal to promote the transformation and upgrading of Zixing industry according to the comprehensive, systematic and ecological development way. After the first phase of big data center was put into operation, the index of energy efficiency of data center kept between 1.05 and 1.16, which created the lowest record of domestic Internet data center and became the most energy saving and environmental protection center in the country and the world's leading green energy saving big data center. At present, 19 companies, such as Huawei, Taobao, Wangsu Science and Technology, China Telecom and CR Group, have been settled in the park, with a total investment of 10 billion yuan; Eisoo, Easychat and other 12 companies will sign constracts for the projects; Xinhua Net, 21 Vianet, Sinonet and other more than 30 companies are negotiating the projects.

Chen Songling pointed out that the Dongjiang Lake Big Data Industrial Park is the only licensed big data industrial park of the Provincial Development and Reform Commission, with the unrepeatable natural cold water resources and geographical location advantages. The Provincial Economic and Information Technology Committee will vigorously support the publicity and construction needs of Dongjiang Lake Big Data Center, and base on differentiation and refined development to form a unique brand in the next step; will step up publicity, go out and bring in to let more enterprises understand and enter Dongjiang Lake Big Data Industrial Park.
