Recently, the College of Information Science and Engineering of Hunan University has signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with the Yizhang Economic Development Zone Management Committee, to strengthen cooperation in the fields of information technology, software development, smart manufacturing and transformation of scientific research results.

In order to implement the "Furong Talent" Program and the agreement between Hunan University and the Chenzhou Municipal People's Government on further strengthening the strategic cooperation of the Industry-University-Research, Yang Zhongwang, Party Committee Secretary of the College of Information Science and Engineering of Hunan University, and his party went to Hengwei Electronics, Hongyuan Chemical Industry, Navel Orange Academician's Workstation, and the County E-government Information Center to investigate respectively on July 18, which enhanced the mutual understanding and mutual trust in the Yizhang revolutionary old areas.

Yizhang Economic Development Zone, founded in 1992, was the first batch of provincial parks in Hunan Province. In 2012, a fluorine chemical industrial concentration zone was approved to establish in Yizhang County, which became a county with 2 provincial parks at the same time with the development area of 32 square kilometers. At present, it has completed a total infrastructure investment of 13 billion yuan, and has introduced more than 100 industrial enterprises above scale.

It was reported that the county has set up a positive outlook on talent, actively done a good job in attracting capital, wisdom and technology, and promoted the scientific and technological cooperation between universities and zones through the school-enterprise strategic cooperation to promote alleviate poverty through science and technology. In accordance with the strategic cooperation agreement signed between the two sides, the college will focus on supporting high-tech enterprises in the zone to establish postdoctoral research workstations and research bases. At the same time, the enterprises in the zone should set up the practice bases for college students and postgraduate student in Hunan University, and provide practical training, entrepreneurship education and career guidance for college students.
