On July 29th, the "Mount Suxian Trail Race" opened in the Fudi Plaza. The trail race was jointly organized by Chenzhou National Fitness Service Center, and co-organized by the Mount Suxian Scenic Spot Management Office, Suxian District Sports and Culture Bureau, and Chenzhou Radio Channel 102.8 with the theme of "A forest tunnel in the city".

The race aimed to carry out the document spirit of Chenzhou Municipal Government's "National Fitness Implementation Plan (2016-2020)", carry out national fitness activities in depth, strengthen the construction of sports organizations, and meet the growing fitness needs of the general population in our city. A total of 1680 participants participated in 3 groups: takeoff group, vitality group and parent-child group.

The events attracted running enthusiasts from all over Hunan and Guangdong. According to events organizers, a female athlete from the Chenzhou Road Running and Sports Association has been able to compete with professional athletes.

In the end, Wei Guochao, a college student from Changsha, won the men's first place in the takeoff group, and Wang Zhihong from the Chenzhou Running Bar won the women's first place in the takeoff group, all receiving 1000 yuan in cash and 60 points.
