On July 26th, Suxian District Women's Federation, the Red Cross Blue Sky Rescue Team, and the District Volunteer Federation organized a knowledge education campaign on "Summer Vacation Family Education" in the South Tower Street Office, marking the beginning of the summer children's safety work of Women's Federation at all levels in our district.
During the activities, the Suxian District Women's Federation publicized the knowledge of children's safety in summer, and strengthened the children's awareness of safety and self-protection through issuing "Open Letter to Parents of Left-behind Children" and safety propaganda materials. The City Red Cross Blue Sky Rescue Team members explained the summer anti-drowning, anti-fire, anti-traffic accidents and other safety knowledge to the children and parents through the PPT. At the activity site, the volunteers also explained the first aid knowledge of cardiopulmonary resuscitation and trauma rescue, and instructed the children and parents to carry out practical exercises of CPR to let them master the skills of self-saving and mutual rescue in a crisis, which was warmly welcomed by more than 60 children and parents.
It was reported that the Town and Street Women's Federations have also organized 14 safety education activities such as summer disaster prevention and drowning. A total of more than 1200 children have learned about safety knowledge and related measures, and raised the consciousness of safety and prevention.
