From July 29 to 31, the Provincial Counsellor's Office organized more than 30 provincial government counselors to carry out consultation and research activities on economic and social development in Chenzhou, providing suggestions for the development of Chenzhou. Li Wencai, Party Group Secretary and Director of Provincial Counsellor's Office (Provincial Institute of Literature and History Research) and Liu Zhiren, Deputy Party Secretary and Mayor attended the related activities.

In three days, the provincial government counsellors went deep into Zixing City, Yongxing County, Chenzhou High-tech Zone, Chenzhou Economic Development Zone and other places to understand the economic and social development of Chenzhou, and investigate the development of various work. At the subsequent consultation meeting on economic and social development in Chenzhou City, the counselors expressed their views on Chenzhou's opening up, regional development, industrial transformation, financial innovation, ecological construction, rural revitalization and so on.

Li Wencai thanked the Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government for their long support for the work of the Provincial Counsellor's Office. Li Wencai pointed out that the Provincial Counsellor's Office is the provincial government's think-tank, and has unique advantages in participating in government affairs and discussing politics. The provincial government counselors are experts from various industries with profound knowledge, wide knowledge and wide vision, and the proposals are more objective, fair and practical.

Li Wencai pointed out that in recent years, the Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government have conscientiously implemented Xi Jinping's thought of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era and the spirit of the 19th National Congress, and have done a great deal of work in high-quality development and construction of "five Chenzhou", achieving good results.

It was hoped that Chenzhou could absorb the reasonable elements to promote the high quality development of Chenzhou and benefit the people of Chenzhou.

Liu Zhiren introduced to the counselors the basic situation of Chenzhou. Liu Zhiren said that the provincial government counselors have put forward a lot of valuable policy suggestions for the development of Chenzhou, and the provincial government counselors have given great support to the development of Chenzhou, so that the development of Chenzhou has taken a few detours in many aspects. Liu Zhiren pointed out that the provincial government counsellor is the "think-tank" of the provincial party committee and the provincial government, and is a "watch-keeper" for the province's economic and social development. He also said that the future development of Chenzhou needs the care and support of the Provincial Counsellor's Office and the counselors as always, and urged the counsellors to stand at a higher level to give more valuable opinions and suggestions to the development of Chenzhou, and help Chenzhou to call for support from the provincial party committee and provincial government.
