On July 31st, the Dongjiang Bay Bridge, which lasted for 2 years and 3 months, was successfully closed. On that day, the closure ceremony of Dongjiang Bay Bridge was held at the site of the bridge construction. Huang Zhengrong, Party Secretary of Zixing City, announced that the bridge was closed, and Luo Chenghui, Deputy Party Secretary of Zixing City and Mayor, presided over the ceremony.

The smooth closure of Dongjiang Bay Bridge was not only a happy event for the people of Zixing City, but also an important milestone in the traffic history of Zixing City. After the completion of the Dongjiang Bay Bridge, it will further improve the urban traffic environment, expand the urban framework, expand the urban development space, drive the development of Dongjiang and Tangdong regions, and lay a solid foundation for Zixing to build the "most beautiful water city in China".

The total length of Dongjiang Bay Bridge is 920 meters, in which the bridge length of 605m, the connection road of 315m, the deck width of 30.5m, the two-way six-lane, the design speed of 60 (km/h) per hour. The closure of the bridge means that the main project has been completed, and the next step will be the construction of the bridge deck, sidewalk, street lamp, wiring road, etc.
