On August 8, Deputy Party Secretary and Mayor Liu Zhiren made a field investigation on land use work in our city. Liu Zhiren called for speeding up the disposal of idle land projects in accordance with the law, invigorating effective land resources, increasing land supply rates, and increasing revenue from land sales.

Liu Zhiren and his entourage successively visited several idle land projects, production and development land projects, and educational base projects in our city, and learned on the spot about the land supply projects and major idle land projects to be studied in our city in the near future, and the land use and planning of government reserve land projects in order to promote land supply, and increase land requisition and removal.

Liu Zhiren said that land resources are an important basis for economic and social development. We should strictly abide by the regulations and make scientific use of land to maximize the benefits of each inch of land; should speed up the disposal of idle land projects according to law, seriously study the active utilization of major idle land projects, and strictly follow the regulations and procedures to manage the land to ensure no more hidden dangers left; should intensify the rectification and reform of the feedback problem of the land inspectors, make clear the main body of responsibility, draw up the timetable and task map, and resolutely carry out rectification and reform in place in accordance with the requirements and arrangements of the province; should increase the assessment of land use and planning for the proposed land supply projects in the near future, considering both social and economic benefits; should speed up the government's reserve land supply, adhere to land conservation and intensive use, improve land supply rate, and increase revenue from land transfer.
