On August 8, the reporter learned from the Zixing Comprehensive Agricultural Development Office that the Provincial Ministry of Finance recently issued a document of the "approval of the first batch of comprehensive agricultural development land management projects in 2018" that the "Construction Project of High Standard Farmland in Yao Nationality Township of Huilongshan City" declared by Zixing City was successfully selected for the first batch of comprehensive agricultural development and land management projects in 2018 in Hunan Province.

The Construction Project of High Standard Farmland in Yao Nationality Township of Huilongshan City is an inclusive and basic people's livelihood construction project, with a construction task of 6400 mu, a total investment of 9.56 million yuan, in which 6.82 million yuan of central financial support, 2.19 million yuan of provincial financial fund support, and 550,000 yuan of county-level financial investment.

After the completion of the project, Zixing City will add a number of high standard farmland with high and stable drought and waterlogging, high and stable yield, water saving and increasing efficiency, which will further speed up the process of mechanization, industrialization and modernization of local agriculture, and promote local agricultural efficiency, the increase in farmers' income and rural development to inject new momentum into the realization of the strategic goal of rural revitalization in Zixing city.
