In order to recommend the characteristic food and spread the food culture of Chenzhou, the opening ceremony and news conference of Chenzhou Food Selection Activity were held on the morning of Aug. 9, 2018.

It was reported that the event, with the theme of "showing the the delicacies of hotels and promoting the upgrading of catering consumption", sponsored by the Municipal Bureau of Commerce, is aimed at promoting the transformation and development of the catering industry, displaying Chenzhou food, promoting Chenzhou's catering culture, stimulating the catering enterprises to coruscate the new vigor, and promoting the green healthy and rapid development of catering industry by innovation.

This activity is the first season of the 2018 Chenzhou Food Selection Activity, which takes hotel catering as the starting point, and guide catering consumption upgrading by providing healthy, green and safe foods, so as to provide citizens with a comfortable dining environment and focus on the dining experience and hotel service.

The characteristic foods displayed by the participating hotels

11 hotels from all over the city participated in the selection. During the event, the participating units will select 4 special dishes, collect and upload the dishes to the voting platform for display and open online voting, then select a dish according to the result of the voting. The Organizing Committee will organize the expert jury and the mass jury to score the dishes on the spot, and the judges score, the mass score and the voting score are the final scores.

The event will award medals and prizes to the excellent dishes, chefs and hotels in the 2018 Chenzhou Food Selection Activity.
