On the morning of August 9 th, the fourth Provincial Environmental Protection Supervision Group held a discussion with our city's "Green Guards" to protect the Xiangjiang River. Zhou Qiwei, Chief Coordinator of the fourth Provincial Environmental Protection Supervision Group, chaired the meeting.

The four groups of Chenzhou City Group, Zixing Group, Yizhang Group and Rucheng Group attended the forum to protect the Xiangjiang River as "Green Guards". From the bad production and living habits of the ordinary people, such as electric fishing, destroying the environment, the clues of illegal sewage discharge, to the experience and feelings of engaging in environmental protection in these years, the "Green Guards" of the Xiangjiang River spoke freely and put forward constructive opinions and suggestions.

On behalf of the fourth Provincial Environmental Protection Supervision Group, Zhou Qiwei thanked the "Green Guards" of protecting the Xiangjiang River for their long-term concern and support for environmental protection work, as well as for the opinions and suggestions they put forward during the discussion. He said that the spirit of the "Green Guards" of protecting the Xiangjiang River and the pragmatic and serious style of work were moving, and the opinions and suggestions put forward in the discussion could help the Supervision Group to find problems more accurately, with guidance and promotion function for environmental protection work. The Supervision Group will sort out the opinions, suggestions and clues and report them to the relevant departments; will also conduct investigations and visits according to the clues at the same time. He also hoped that Xiangjiang River "Green Guards" will care and support the cause of environmental protection and make further contributions to the cause of environmental protection as always.
