On the afternoon of August 11, Chenzhou and China Energy Engineering Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement, and the two sides will carry out strategic cooperation in environmental protection and new energy development. Deputy Party Secretary and Mayor Liu Zhiren, and Duan Yulin, President of China Energy Engineering Group Co., Ltd. participated in the activities.

According the agreement, China Energy Engineering Group will invest in Chenzhou to build a natural gas distributed gas power plant, incremental distribution network, industrial gas air separation, natural gas feeder network soil restoration environmental protection, new energy hydrogen fuel cells and other projects. At the same time, it will give full play to the capital, proprietary technology, market development and other advantages of central enterprises, and support Chenzhou enterprises to participate in the "Belt and Road" project construction to achieve the goal of becoming bigger and stronger.

Liu Zhiren pointed out that our city will conscientiously implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's thought of ecological civilization and resolutely fight the three major battles of "clean water, blue sky and clean land". To "eat and squeeze out" the environmental pollutants is an important starting to carry out General Secretary Xi's thought of ecological civilization construction, the concept of "Lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets.", and the implementation of pollution prevention and control.

Liu Zhiren pointed out that our city has fully implemented the strategy of "innovation leading, opening up and rising" and "industry leading, all-round development", and the development thinking of enterprises has been consistent with the development strategy. The two sides have a good foundation for cooperation, broad scope for cooperation and good cooperation prospects. It was hoped that the landing of the project will bring about social and economic benefits.

Liu Zhiren pointed out that we would speed up the preliminary work of the project, speed up the management of the project procedures; strengthen the implementation of the programme, and compact responsibilities and gradually promote in accordance with the time nodes; strengthen coordination and promotion, and take the initiative to dock to provide the best business environment and services for the project.

Duan Yulin said that China Energy Engineering Group and Chenzhou have the same goal in clean energy supply and environmental protection, and China Energy Engineering Group will exert its own advantages and actively participate in the industrial transformation and development of Chenzhou. He hoped to combine the regional energy supply with the industry development of Chenzhou, and take Chenzhou as the center to radiate to the surrounding areas to achieve win-win development.
