On August 15, the reporter learned from the Conference on the Promotion of Comprehensive Activities for Primary and Middle School Students in the city that Chenzhou Demonstration Comprehensive Practice Base will be open to all primary and middle school students in the city from September. The comprehensive opening of the base will provide a good platform for the students in the city to practice book knowledge, exercise their physique and temper their will, playing a positive role in promoting the development of quality education in Chenzhou City.

Chenzhou Demonstration Comprehensive Practice Base was rebuilt (expanded) on the basis of the Municipal Polytechnic Vocational and Technical School, which is a national demonstration comprehensive practice base supported by the Central Special Lottery Public Welfare Fund. It takes "practice, innovation, experience and growth" as the concept and "extending school education, connecting social education, practicing quality education" as the purpose, and develops and sets up practical courses in a targeted manner, combining life education, subject knowledge, modern science and technology, regional culture, life education, life planning and other six aspects of content.

It was understood that the base has been built into three major functional areas, including the indoor comprehensive activity area, the outdoor quality development area and the living service area. There are more than 60 course modules for 32 activities, covering the knowledge of fire safety, the experience of earthquake escape, legal education, etc. From September, the base will be open to primary and middle school students throughout the city from Monday to Friday, open to society on weekends, holidays, and winter and summer holidays, and accept adult social teams and students in winter (summer) camps.
