As early as 2003, Chenzhou's display material industry was awarded the brand of provincial video communication industrial base. At that time, it was mainly composed of Hualu Digital, Junfeng Electronics and other enterprises. After more than 10 years of development, Chenzhou has formed a display industry cluster represented by Hualei Optoelectronic and Jingxun Optoelectronics due to the transformation, product replacement and other factors of enterprises.

After listening to reports from related enterprises and departments, Liu Zhiren said that we should attach great importance to the development of the display materials industry; should strengthen scheduling, strengthen responsibility, and actively solve the difficulties and problems existing in enterprises. The Municipal Economic and Information Commission should formulate a policy in line with the development of the display material industry in Chenzhou, and the relevant departments should actively strive for project and financial support, and the support of the above innovative platform; should increase innovation, strengthen R & D, increase investment in scientific research, increase the introduction of supporting enterprises, lengthen the industrial chain, and develop functional materials industry.
