On the afternoon of Aug. 16, a group of southbound herons flew over the Huilong Town of Yanyanqiao Neighborhood Committee in Shatian Town, Guidong County.

Guidong County is a millennium bird road in the inland of our country and hundreds of millions of migratory birds fly from here to the southern coastal area in autumn every year. The peak period of southward migration in previous years is around "mid-autumn", but there is still more than a month from "mid-autumn" at present and the migration of migratory birds to the south is much earlier than in previous years.
