On August 19, Yi Pengfei, Municipal Party Secretary and Chairman of the Municipal People's Congress Standing Committee,investigated the construction of the project in Yongxing County and the rectification of problems in environmental supervision. He required to firmly guard the "red line" of ecological protection to create a hot atmosphere for project construction.

The Changlu International Tourism Resort, located in Yongxing, listed as one of the 100 major industrial projects in the "Industrial Project Construction Year" of the whole province, which is the main venue of Chenzhou International Leisure Tourism Cultural Festival, which will open on October 26th this year. On the hot spot, Yi Pengfei investigated the progress of the project and addressed that we should arrange the inverted schedule scientifically, ensure the quality, speed up the progress, and complete the project construction on time; should concentrate our efforts, implement in areas, take out the model, and display the image, so that the most attractive tourism products can be put into operation and produce benefits as soon as possible; should adhere to the ecological priority and green development, protect the water ecology in the project planning, design and construction, and lay out a batch of audio-visual landscape along the Bianjiang River, which integrates sound, light and electricity under the premise of protecting the water environment, native vegetation and animal habitats in the relevant areas; should fully consider safety factors and safety requirements in the design, installation and commissioning stages of various facilities to ensure safe operation in future use; should speed up the construction of relevant supporting facilities, especially domestic sewage and domestic waste treatment facilities, to ensure that the operation of the project does not affect the surrounding environment.

Yongxing Zhongyi High-tech Concrete Co., Ltd. because of the dust impact on the environment and noise disturbance during production, and Yongxing landfill, which was diluted for discharging wastewater were ordered to rectify by the central and provincial environmental protection inspectors. Yi Pengfei carefully inspected the rectification of the two enterprises, and found that raw materials and gravel open-air stacking, waste water overflow discharge, noise disturbance, suspected waste water dilution and other issues have been rectified in place.

Yi Pengfei stressed that enterprises must adhere to the people-oriented principle, never infringe upon the public interest and the interests of the masses, take environmental safety and non-environmental impact as the "lifeline" to ensure the long-term development of enterprises, further enhance the awareness of ecological protection, strengthen the initiative of environmental protection, and effectively rectify the existing environmental problems to undertake the social responsibilities that should be fulfilled. Relevant departments at all levels should carry out self-examination and self-rectification, strengthen normal monitoring, enrich professional supervision and law enforcement forces, pay attention to key parts, key regions and key enterprises, and take the initiative to find and supervise the rectification problems to ensure the rectification in place and prevent similar problems from happening again.
