Recently, the Hunan Provincial Department of Commerce announced the list of state-level e-commerce into rural comprehensive demonstration counties in 2018, and Yizhang County was successfully selected, winning 20 million yuan of state financial support funds.

In recent years, the Yizhang County Party Committee and the county government have adhered to the development of e-commerce as a new way to achieve the Yizhang's industry development, increasing farmers'income, financial growth, and targeted poverty alleviation, attached great importance to the work of e-commerce, successively issued the "Notice on Publishing and Issuing Some Supporting Policies for Promoting the Development of Electronic Commerce Industry and Promoting Targeted Poverty Alleviation in Yizhang County", "Implementation Opinions on Accelerating the Development of E-commerce Industry" and other relevant documents, and set up an e-commerce leading group in rural areas with the county secretary as advisor, the county head as group leader, and the county business, agriculture, finance, economics and other relevant departments as members. Up to now, Yizhang County has set up 179 village-level e-commerce service sites, established 9600 square meters of county e-commerce industry park (county e-commerce poverty alleviation base, county e-commerce service center, business incubation base), and cultivated more than 150 e-commerce enterprises, 20 express logistics enterprises and 17,000 e-commerce employees. In 2017, the sales volume of agricultural products reached 98 million yuan, and the online sales of industrial products exceeded 200 million yuan.

The first batch of 15 million yuan of central financial funds for demonstration counties has been allocated to Yizhang County, which mainly supports the construction of county-level e-commerce public service centers, rural e-commerce public service sites, rural e-commerce logistics distribution system, e-commerce personnel training, agricultural products network sales promotion, e-commerce poverty alleviation system construction, e-commerce tourism system construction, etc. Yizhang County will seize this favorable opportunity to develop e-commerce, achieve economic transformation and development of Yizhang, realize the vigorous development of rural e-commerce, and promote the county's targeted poverty alleviation work with 100 times the effort.
