On the morning of August 27, Jiang Bo, Municipal Standing Committee, Director of the Organization Department of the Municipal Party Committee, and Municipal River Chief of Dongjiang Lake, and his entourage carried out river inspection activities in Zixing City.

Jiang Bo and his entourage arrived at Xiaodongjiang No.4 Bridge, Dongjiang Bridge, Liyujiang Hydropower Station and Dongjiangwan City Park, and inspected the river cleaning, the regulation of sewage outlets into river, the water cleaning of the power station, and the river course management on the spot.

At the subsequent Chenzhou-level working meeting of river chiefs of the Dongjiang River Basin, Jiang Bo and his entourage heard a report on the implementation of the river chief system by the Zixing government and the municipal related units put forward good suggestions. Jiang Bo fully affirmed the work done by Zixing City, and required on how to implement the river chief system in the future that we should further improve the political position, and conscientiously integrate our thoughts and actions with the ecological civilization thought of General Secretary Xi Jinping, so as to fully and thoroughly promote the river chief system work with a highly responsible attitude towards future generations; should further strengthen comprehensive control, strengthen water resources protection, water pollution prevention and control, water ecological restoration, and comprehensively do a good job in the prevention and control of pollution in industry and agriculture, production and living, towns and villages, water and shore, upstream and downstream; should further strengthen the implementation of responsibilities, strengthen inspection and guidance, strengthen supervision and management, and conscientiously implement the responsibility to every township, every village, every group of villages, every river, every water area to promote the regularization and institutionalization of the river chief system.
