Over the past 30 years, Zou Xuexiao has made systematic and creative achievements in the creation of excellent pepper germplasm resources, breeding technology innovation, and new varieties cultivation, and led the team to produce the largest cultivated pepper varieties in China. After docking, Zou Xuexiao will lead the scientific research team to cooperate with Hunan Shennong Valley Land Property Co., Ltd. to carry out research on new pepper varieties breeding technology, build a rapid and efficient molecular breeding system for resistance genes of pepper diseases and insect pests, and develop new varieties with high yield, high commodity rate and good quality suitable for greenhouse and open field cultivation.
