Recently, the author learned from the Yongxing County Agricultural Comprehensive Development Office that the county will start the pilot project to support the development of Yongxing candy orange industry.

The pilot project to support the development of Yongxing candy orange industry has been implemented since September, 2017. After field investigation, 62 projects, totally 6568 mu, were selected from 109 application projects and approved. In June this year, the first acceptance of 4028 mu, there were still 2540 mu due to seedling supply and other reasons not to fulfill the project construction task. According to the latest news, after re-declaration rectification, rectification acceptance and acceptance of renewal projects, the project units that have not yet met the requirements will not be awarded. On the premise of conforming to the relevant policies and regulations of the departments of agriculture, forestry, land, environmental protection and water conservancy, the declaration of new projects for poor households with file-building and card-setting have been added, and the construction standard and area has been appropriately relaxed according to the industrial poverty alleviation policy. The poor households can be declared jointly by households (over 30 mu) or separately (over 10 mu), but other conditions for declaration remain unchanged. In principle, the renewal area must not break through the approved area, and the construction site must be within the approved area or the scope of the sketch mapping approved by the relevant departments.
