Recently, the provincial Party Committee and the provincial government office issued a "Circular on the Evaluation of the Promotion of Building a Well-off Society in an All-round way in 2017" (hereinafter referred to as the "Circular"). The ranking lists of 2017 cities and counties (urban areas) to achieve a comprehensive well-off in Hunan, 2017 strong economic counties in Hunan, economic rapid development counties and so on have come out one after another. In the ranking of the overall well-off society, Chenzhou City ranked fifth. Among the top 20 strong economic counties in the province, Zixing City ranked sixth, Guiyang County ranked seventh, and Yongxing County ranked twelfth.

According to the Circular, the top 7 cities in the province were Changsha, Zhuzhou, Xiangtan, Yueyang, Chenzhou, Changde and Hengyang City. Suxian County, Yongxing County and Guiyang County were among the top 10 in the second class counties, while Guidong County and Yizhang County were among the top 10 in the third class counties in the evaluation results of comprehensive well-off society and county economy in counties and cities.

A number of excellent units, advanced units, strong economic counties and rapid development counties have been commended. The provincial party committee and the provincial people's government have decided to award the award-winning units in accordance with the relevant regulations of the provincial leading group for building a well-off society in an all-round way. All bonuses were not awarded to individuals, but rewarded for investment in the overall well-off society.
