On the evening of September 19, 2018 Chenzhou (Hong Kong) Tourism Promotion Meeting was held in Hong Kong. Vice Mayor Zhou Hailin attended the promotion meeting.

At the promotion meeting, the Dongjiang Lake, Mangshan, Rucheng Hot Springs and other scenic spots made a splendid appearance in front of the people of Hong Kong and the promulgation of high-quality routes and the launch of Chenzhou Tourist Train also accelerated the "close contact" between the people of Hong Kong and Chenzhou. Chenzhou City also signed contracts with the Global Trip Alliance and Hong Kong China Tourism Association and held a licensing ceremony for Chenzhou (Hong Kong) Marketing Promotion Center.

In recent years, the traffic pattern of Chenzhou City has been constantly improved, the urban construction has changed, and the location advantages of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area have become increasingly prominent. It has just been evaluated "Cantonese's favorite tourist destination". With the opening of the high-speed rail in Hong Kong on September 23, Chenzhou City has become more closely linked with Hong Kong. As an international financial and trade center, Hong Kong, known as the "Oriental Pearl", "City of Life" and "Shopping Paradise", has become an important tourist source of Chenzhou tourism market.
