On September 20, Peng Cheng, Director of PPP Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Financial Sciences, led a research group to carry out a special research on the innovation of development-oriented PPP model. Deputy Party Secretary and Mayor Liu Zhiren attended the forum.

At the forum, the research group listened to the introduction of PPP work in Chenzhou City. By the end of 2017, Chenzhou City had 83 PPP projects in the Ministry of Finance, with a total investment of 101.897 billion yuan, covering municipal projects, tourism and comprehensive urban development, transportation and other aspects. PPP warehousing projects and investment scale, PPP institutionalized management and PPP promotion reform results are leading in the province.

Liu Zhiren welcomed the research group's visit to Chenzhou. Liu Zhiren said the research group has brought resources and information to Chenzhou. Chenzhou City is rich in resources and has obvious advantages in opening up, which is speeding up investment invitation, promoting industrial development, focusing on the three key issues and promoting high quality development. Chenzhou City should continue to strengthen innovation, break the bottleneck of current economic development, speed up infrastructure construction and improve people's livelihood. It was hoped that the PPP Institute of the Chinese Academy of Financial Sciences could strengthen the guidance, docking, cooperation, care and support for Chenzhou to promote the high-quality development in Chenzhou City.

Peng Cheng said that the PPP Institute of the Chinese Academy of Fiscal Sciences is a five-in-one platform for PPP theory, policy, model innovation, pilot experiments and specific project consultation and packaging. The key research areas are PPP, local debt, characteristic towns and modern industrial parks. The PPP Research Institute will give full play to its advantages to guide Chenzhou's PPP work and boost Chenzhou's local economic development.
