On September 22nd, the National Legal Professional Qualification Examination officially started. More than 1000 candidates took part in the first examination after the reform in 18 examination sites of Xiangnan University and Chenzhou Institute of Technicians.

This year, the National Legal Professional Qualification Examination was divided into objective questions and subjective questions. Only those who pass the objective questions can take the subjective questions. On September 27th, the results of objective examination and qualified score were announced. Candidates who pass the objective examination are valid for 2 years.

The relevant staff of the Education Department of Municipal Judicial Bureau told reporters that this year's reference staff showed the characteristics of diversification, younger age, higher educational background, etc. Selecting legal talents according to the new method is a concrete measure to implement Xi Jinping's socialist thought with Chinese characteristics in the new era and the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the Party. The new law examination will further enhance the scientificity and authority of the country's selection of legal professionals, and the pace of building a legal China will be more steady forward with the national legal professional qualification examination as a new starting point.
