On September 27, Chenzhou City held a scheduling meeting on the development of tourism and cultural industry and the 2018 Chenzhou International Leisure Tourism Cultural Festival. Liu Zhiren, Deputy Party Secretary and Mayor, pointed out at the meeting that we should strengthen the sense of responsibility and mission of cultural tourism industry construction, and focus on the projects, educational subjects, integration and marketing to promote the quality of cultural tourism industry development in Chenzhou in an all-round way.

From January to August of this year, the city received 46.2808 million tourists, an increase of 11.77%, ranking the second place in the province; the comprehensive tourism income of 40.687 billion yuan, an increase of 13.56%, ranking the third place in the province. The 2018 Chenzhou International Leisure Tourism Culture Festival will be held in Yongxing County in October. The theme of the festival has been preliminarily determined as "Splendid Xiaoxiang, Unique Chenzhou, World Changlu, China Silver City" and the main activities and 5 series of activities will be held. At present, the preparations for the festival are steadily advancing.

Liu Zhiren pointed out that we should enhance our sense of responsibility for the construction of cultural tourism industry. Chenzhou City is an important growth pole of Hunan's tourism industry and all departments in the city should further unify their thinking and understanding, fully implement the decision-making and deployment of the central government, the provincial Party Committee and the provincial government, and focus on the goal of building hundreds of billions of industrial clusters and building national tourism demonstration zones to develop the tourism industry.

Liu Zhiren demanded that we should make efforts to improve the quality of Chenzhou's cultural tourism industry development; focus on the project carriers and promote the overall upgrading of tourism products; focus on attracting investment and promote the overall cultivation of market players; focus on opening up and docking, and promote the overall integration of industrial development; focus on the industry management and promote the the public service in the whole region; focus on brand building and promote the overall integration of publicity and marketing.

Liu Zhiren stressed that in order to carry out Chenzhou International Leisure Tourism Cultural Festival well with high quality and high level, we should take responsibility and strictly implement responsibility. Departments at all levels in the city should be based on the overall situation, promote the height and position of development, and take the successful holding of the festival as a manifestation of strengthening the sense of responsibility for Chenzhou's development. We should stress the overall situation and strengthen overall planning and coordination. All municipal units and other counties and urban areas should adhere to the city-county linkage and make concerted efforts to support Yongxing County to hold a good cultural tourism festival.
