"This is the famous heroic land, the natural pure land, the best place to recuperate...." On October 19th, the high-end Photo Exhibition will be held in 2018 (the 9th) Tourism Industry Expo and Hunan's First Tourism Equipment Expo.

The film exhibition covers an area of 1000㎡ and is divided into five chapters, namely, the Guidong party, the mountains and rivers, the authentic scenery, the beautiful economy, and the painter Liu Chao's works. Nearly 200 photographic works selected from more than 1000 photographic works will be displayed, showing the beautiful natural style, profound history, humanities and rich characteristic industries of Guidong from different perspectives.

The photo exhibition, co-sponsored by the Guidong County government and the Hunan Daily News Agency, not only opens a window for the general public to fully understand the Guidong County, but also shows the comprehensive achievements of poverty alleviation in Guidong County.

Guidong County, located in the southeast of Hunan Province, at the junction of Hunan, Guangdong and Jiangxi Provinces, is the commanding height of the three provinces (the county's average elevation of 900 meters) and is the roof of Hunan, known as "Small Tibet of Hunan, Jiangxi and Guangdong". Here the forest coverage rate is 85%, ranking the highest in Hunan; the annual average temperature is 15.4℃, summer average temperature of 23.6℃, the highest content of negative oxygen ions in the world, known as "health paradise, summer resort", ranking the province's first in air quality for many years.

Guidong County is a famous heroic place, where the "Three Disciplines and Eight Attentions" were promulgated. It is also the first batch of Hunan provincial tourism demonstration zones to create units, but also the earliest "global tourism" concept put forward and practiced. In recent years, Guidong County has adhered to the concept of "Panoramic Guidong, Global Tourism and National Happiness", made great efforts to create a tourism brand, seized the opportunity to establish the first batch of national tourism demonstration areas and "Hunan Provincial Demonstration County for Poverty Alleviation through Tourism", and vigorously carried out poverty alleviation through tourism. In August this year, the county officially withdrew from the poverty stricken county after special national assessment and inspection.

The film festival will last for 3 days, ending on October 21st.
