Recently, the Promotion Conference of the Construction of Socialist Core Values in Hunan Province was held in Changsha City. At the meeting, the 4th batch of national demonstration sites and pacesetters for Leifeng learning activities were awarded licenses and certificates. Hunan Library, Hunan Civilization Network and other 36 demonstration sites of socialist core values construction in Hunan Province were licensed.

In recent years, under the guidance of Xi Jinping's socialist ideology with Chinese characteristics in the new era, various units in Hunan Province have conscientiously implemented the deployment of the central and provincial committees, and actively cultivated and practised socialist core values, and a number of advanced models with outstanding achievements, distinctive features and wide influence have emerged, which have strong reference significance and popularization value. In order to further promote the construction of socialist core values and give full play to the leading role of advanced typical demonstrations, the Propaganda Department of the Provincial Party Committee decided to name Hunan Library, Hunan Civilization Network and other 36 units as the demonstration sites for the construction of socialist core values in Hunan Province after the procedures of recommendation and declaration, preliminary evaluation, review, on-the-spot investigation and comprehensive assessment. Among them, Shatian No. 1 Primary School in Guidong County and Feijiping Community of Renmin Road Street in Beihu District were the only two units on the list in our city.
