Recently, the summary and recognition of cultural volunteer service in Hunan Province in 2018 and the launching ceremony of cultural volunteer service in 2019 were held in Chenzhou City, sponsored by Hunan Provincial Culture and Tourism Department and undertook by Chenzhou Municipal Bureau of Cultural, Broadcasting, Television, Press and Publication.

In 2018, cultural volunteer service organizations at all levels in the province carried out a wide range of cultural volunteer service activities around 9 themes, "Spring Rain Project", "Sunshine Project" and "Dream Project", which enriched the cultural life of the masses, constantly satisfied the people's yearning for a better life, and made new contributions to the promotion of excellent traditional Chinese culture. At the evening party, the "Notice on Recognition of Advanced Cultural Volunteer Service Units (Projects) and Individuals in 2018" was read out. 6 organizations, such as the Cultural Volunteer Service Branch of Chenzhou Municipal Bureau of Cultural, Broadcasting, Television, Press and Publication, were rated as advanced cultural volunteer service units; 29 teams, such as Changsha County Cultural Volunteer Service Team, were rated as cultural volunteer service excellent team; 18 excellent cultural volunteer service organizers and 50 star-level cultural volunteers were commended and awarded medals and certificates of honor.

After the award ceremony, a splendid performance of singing and dancing was also held. The poetry recitation of "Infinite Love and Volunteer Peer" showed the volunteers' spirit of standing in the countryside, initiative and selfless dedication. The dance "She Hong" expressed the positive, healthy and sunny spirit of the minority people; Kunqu Opera "Peony Pavilion·Travelling in the Garden" showed the unique charm of Chinese traditional culture. The whole evening was a blend of singing and dancing, and the performers' wonderful performances were greeted with applause from the audience.
