Recently, 2018 Chenzhou (Guangzhou) Tourism B&B Special Investment Promotion Conference was held in Guangzhou. Gao Aiguo, Deputy Director of Municipal People's Congress Standing Committee and Executive Vice-chairman of the Coordination and Promotion Group for the Development and Construction of the City's Excellent Homestay Economy, chaired the meeting. More than 600 people attended the meeting, including entrepreneurs of the Chenzhou Chamber of Commerce in Hunan Province and Chenzhou local homestay owners.

The investment promotion conference was chaired by Gao Aiguo, Deputy Director of Municipal People's Congress Standing Committee and Executive Vice-chairman of the Coordination and Promotion Group for the Development and Construction of the City's Excellent Homestay Economy.

Wu Qilong, Director-General of Chenzhou Tourism, Foreign Affairs and Overseas Chinese Affairs Bureau, introduced the development of homestay industry. According to reports, Chenzhou City has unique geographical advantages and rich tourism resources, which is one of the most favorite tourist destinations of Guangdong people.

The conference introduced Chenzhou's homestay industry from 4 aspects: what Chenzhou has, what the government does, where the pioneers are, homestay conditions and residential conditions. Zixing, Yizhang, Rucheng and Guidong counties (cities and districts) respectively made key recommendations for homestry investment. The investment framework agreements of 15 other projects were signed at the meeting.

In recent years, our city has attached great importance to the development of homestay industry, and issued the "Chenzhou three-year plan of action for accelerating the development of high-quality tourist homestay (2018-2020)". The "Chenzhou management measures for tourism homestay" are amending and improving at present. At the same time, the city has adhered to plan the homestay development areas to lead the development of homestay industry, and arrange special funds of 10 million yuan for homestay industry development since 2019 to promote the development of residential industry through brand building and publicity.

Gao Aiguo pointed out that our city has regarded the development of high-quality homestay development as a breakthrough for rural revitalization and an important grasp of the transformation of cultural industries. He hoped that each county, city and municipal unit will take this opportunity to further strengthen investment promotion, optimize business environment and provide high-quality services.
