FM1028 Traffic Radio Wins Outstanding Contribution Award for Emergency Publicity in 2018

2019-01-17

Recently, the responsible person of the Emergency Response Office of Chenzhou Municipal Government visited FM102.8 Traffic Channel of Chenzhou Radio. They highly affirmed the emergency propaganda work of the traffic channel in Chenzhou during 2018 and awarded the outstanding contribution award, and also praised the hosts and journalists who had done outstanding work in emergency broadcasting.

Chenzhou Radio Traffic Channel has always put emergency management and propaganda in the first place while serving the public based on traffic. FM102.8, the only emergency broadcasting in Chenzhou, has played a great role in program arrangement and emergency work. In recent years, when major natural disasters, emergencies, public health and social security emergencies and other public crises occurred, Chenzhou emergency broadcasting has provided a fast and rapid information transmission channel and passed on the news of the disaster or the possible harm it might cause to the people at the first time, so that the people could know what had happened, how to evacuate and take refuge, and minimize the loss of life and property.

In 2018, Chenzhou Radio Traffic Channel changed its old ideas in emergency propaganda. From emergency traffic conditions to special reports on freezing and snow weather, from a cool city to a warm city, and from emergency propaganda films to emergency knowledge into campuses, communities and units, FM102.8 Traffic Channel publicized emergency knowledge by way of face-to-face, so that the public could know and prevent in advance.

Fan Jianping, Party Secretary of Chenzhou Radio and Television Station, attended the event and put forward new requirements for the emergency propaganda work of Chenzhou Radio Traffic Channel in 2019. Deng Yaohua, Director of Radio Department of Chenzhou Radio and Television Station, and Wang Jingzhi, Director of Transportation Channel, received certificates of recognition.
