In 2019, the Forestry Bureau of Suxian District took it as its duty to build an ecological Chenzhou, "a city in the forest and a city for leisure", earnestly implemented the Four-year Action Plan of the Municipal Committee and the Municipal Government on the construction of ecological Chenzhou, formulated the objectives of forestry work, and comprehensively improved the quality of afforestation and greening of barren hills and wasteland in the whole region.

According to the important guiding spirit of "vigorously promoting land greening and improving forest quality", we should fully mobilize the enthusiasm of afforestation and forest protection in all aspects. We should accurately do a good job in ecological restoration and protection of fragile areas, improve forest quality, enhance forest ecological functions and consolidate the country through the implementation of measures such as artificial afforestation, mountain closure, forest landscape upgrading and beautiful rural construction. In 2019, we plan to build a high standard biological fire protection forest belt and beautiful landscape belt on both sides of the main traffic trunk and the important bare mountain areas, expand the proportion of rare species such as Nanmu and Beech, and scientifically and reasonably mix two-year-old colored leaves and flower-watching trees; continue to implement the tending of 10,000 mu of young Camellia oleifera forest, 23,000 mu of unfinished forest and returning farmland to forest, 12,000 mu of other forests and 25,000 mu of degraded forests; expand the enclosure and management of 15,000 mu of ecologically fragile areas in the Manaoshan mining area, and actively carry out vegetation protection and ecological restoration in the mining area; build three beautiful rural greening demonstration villages, focusing on improving the ecological environment of rural human settlements and creating recreational places for villagers.
