On January 14, Li Juan, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Municipal CPPCC, chaired a leading group meeting on Chenzhou's cultural and historical work. The meeting studied and adjusted the relevant issues of the member list of the leading group of the municipal cultural and historical work; studied the summary of the Cultural and Historical Research Association, the related issues of the new session and the relevant starting work of the "Chenzhou Tong Dian".

It was reported that the Municipal Literature and History Research Association will carefully compile the Chenzhou Tong Dian, build the brand of Chenzhou's history and culture, and improve the soft power of Chenzhou's culture, taking the social origin, important historical events, important historical figures and precious historical relics as clues.

Chenzhou Tong Dian is composed of classical writings and modern documents. Classical writings are sorted out in volumes of classics, history, sub-books and collections and are mainly compiled, focusing on point proofreading, foreword introduction and detailed description. Modern Documents are classified and divided into volumes, mainly compiled, focusing on errors, outlines in the front, and brief description in detail. It is divided into 8 volumes: Political Volume, Economic Volume, Cultural Volume, Social Volume, Geographical Volume, Military Volume, Local Chronicle Volume, Famous Family Volume.

The meeting pointed out that the compilation of Chenzhou Tong Dian is a very huge cultural construction project. All the workers of literature and history in our city should take it as the top priority in the work of literature and history, and write a masterpiece reflecting Chenzhou's unique culture in an all-round way. Relevant departments should actively participate, cooperate with each other, strengthen communication and coordination, conscientiously organize preparatory work to ensure that the compilation work is comprehensively and thoroughly promoted.
