Recently, a development forum on the vegetable, tea and citrus industries was held in Chenzhou.

The reporters learned from the meeting that the export vegetable industry in Chenzhou had a good development trend in 2018 . The vegetable planting area in Chenzhou was 1.67 million mu, the total output of 305 tons and total output value of 6.05 billion yuan, and the export planting area developed to 220,000 mu; the regional advantage of black tea has initially taken shape and the tea area of the whole city has grown to 340,000 mu, with a total output of 13,000 tons and a comprehensive output value of 4.5 billion yuan, which is the central region of the province's high-quality black tea belt. The regional distribution of Chenzhou Fuzhou tea industry, mainly consisting of Lilo Tea in Guidong County, Gounaogong Tea in Zixing City, Black Tea in Mangshan and Baimao Tea in Rucheng County, has initially been formed. The scale of navel orange industry has initially shown that the area of citrus has grown to 745,000 mu, with an output of 700,000 tons and an output value of 3.2 billion yuan. The regional distribution of Yizhang navel orange, Yongxing candy orange and Zixing Dongjiang orange has been preliminary formed.

At the meeting, Vice Mayor Chen Rongwei pointed out that the strategy of rural revitalization should be taken as the main focus, highlighting the "Industry leading, comprehensive development", focusing on building "Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area High-quality Agricultural and Sideline Products Base", and promoting the brand of "Food in Greater Bay Area, Food Materials in Chenzhou". We should focus on the industry development and make every industry achieve "ten one" (i.e. an industrial promotion team, an industrial development plan, a set of policy support system, a batch of production technology standards, a set of operation mechanism, a batch of high-quality food materials bases, a batch of characteristic agricultural brands, a production and marketing docking platform, a batch of leading agricultural enterprises, a batch of research and development teams), coordinate the implementation of policies and make efforts accurately in order to achieve innovation, breakthroughs and effectiveness.
