Guiyang Sizhou Mountain Rocky Desert Park

Recently, the Guiyang Sizhou Mountain Rocky Desert Park has been successfully approved by the State Forestry and Grassland Administration for construction, which was the second national rocky desert park in Chenzhou after Yizhang Chishi National Rocky Desert Park.

Guiyang Sizhou Mountain Rocky Desert Park covers an area of about 1800 hectares, which was constructed in four parts: Ecological Conservation Area, Education Exhibition Area, Experience Area and Management Service Area. Among them, the Ecological Conservation Area includes Guanshan Mountain, Laochang Mountain, Zaoziwo, Shuihuoshan, Taitoushang, Guojingzhai and other places, covering 1180.90 hectares, accounting for 62.60% of the total area of Rocky Desert Park; the Education Exhibition Area includes Shiziling, Manchi and other places, covering 181.50 hectares, accounting for 9.62% of the total area of Rocky Desert Park; the Experience Area includes Wenxi, Tianziyan, Shizi and other three unique scenic areas, covering 463. 49 hectares, accounting for 24.57% of the total area of Rocky Desert Park; the Management Service Area includes Jianqu, Tianyan, Dingxin and other places, covering 60.46 hectares, accounting for 3.21% of the total area of Rocky Desert Park, covering Aoquan, Ouyang Sea, Chongling River, Liantang, Heping and other 5 towns and 15 villages. The landform belongs to the large-scale stone bud landform of karst bare rock hills, including stone buds, stone forests, stone walls, Tiankeng, karst caves and peak clusters.

In the future, according to the principles of "priority of protection, scientific planning, rational utilization and sustainable development", the park will explore new ways of ecological protection, restoration and rational utilization in Karst areas, promote forestry ecological construction in Guiyang County, and strive to build "Green Guiyang" and "Ecological Guiyang", so as to achieve the goal of "Ecological County".
